I think of this area east of LA as Truckland. Semis make up a large percentage of the traffic and almost all the businesses are truck-related. After taking this picture I drove by accident into a high-security yard with towers of corrugated cargo containers from the Port of Los Angeles. I couldn’t turn around because the roadways were equipped with tire-slashing teeth but the guards were cool about explaining how to get out.
