Photographs by Tom Drury
These two and the following photograph resulted from Signs of Los Angeles’s visit to the federal appeals court in Pasadena on Saturday. The place was deserted. It is the former Vista del Arroyo Hotel, built in the 1920s and converted to an army hospital in World War II. I haven’t seen that many federal appeals courts but I bet there aren’t many like this one.
