I always wondered how shallow or deep the roots of palm trees were; it’s surprising they don’t just fall over.

the only time i have ever had a palm fall is during a hurricane, 2 days after install.
since most of the weight is in the root, and they do not have alot of surface area up high to catch the wind, they don’t fall over easily at all.
